Privacy policy

This page explains what we collect when you join the Hush waitlist, why, where it is kept and what you can ask us to do with it. Short version: we only collect what you type into the form, we use it to invite you to early access, we don't sell it, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.
Who we are
Hush is run by Hatim Lachyab, Karu 17, 10120 Tallinn, Estonia, who is responsible for your data (the “controller” under the GDPR). You can reach us at hatimlachyab@gmail.com.
What we collect
When you join the waitlist we store:
- your name and email address
- the kind of work you do and your country
- roughly how many calls you miss per week
- the plan you looked at, if you came from the pricing section
- the date and time you signed up
To keep out spam bots, the form also checks how long it took to fill in and whether a hidden field was filled, and Vercel's bot protection (BotID) checks that the form was sent from a real browser. These checks are not stored.
Why we use it
To run the waitlist: to invite you to early access, to email you about the launch, and to understand who Hush is for (for example, which kinds of work miss the most calls). We only do this because you chose to join, which is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can withdraw it at any time by emailing us.
Where it is kept and who can see it
Your details are stored in a database run by Supabase in the EU (Ireland). The website is hosted by Vercel. When you sign up, we get a copy of your details by email, sent through Resend, which may process it outside the EU under the EU's standard contractual clauses. All three only process the data on our behalf. We don't sell your details or share them with anyone else.
Cookies and analytics
This site doesn't set cookies. To see how many people visit and which pages they read, we use Vercel Web Analytics, which is cookieless and doesn't identify you: it only keeps an anonymous daily visit count.
How long we keep it
Until you ask us to delete it, or until we close the waitlist, whichever comes first.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, limit how we use it, or send it to you in a portable format. Email hatimlachyab@gmail.com and we'll reply within one month.
If you think we've handled your data wrongly, you can complain to the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon), aki.ee (opens in a new tab).
Changes
If we change how we use your data, we'll update this page and the date at the top. For bigger changes we'll email you first.
